As all #basic betches (and by now, everyone else too) know, rosé is the best of the best when it comes to wine. It is refreshing, light, pink and perfect to sip on throughout the summer months, whether you’re enjoying an afternoon on a patio drinking in the sun, or drowning your sorrows after a long day at the office. Hit up these local spots and discover where to drink rosé in NYC to enjoy your fave summery sips before the season gets away from us. Happy drinking.
Maison Kaiser: Bryant Park
Though this spot closes at 7:30, hit it up instead of the pricer options in the Bryant Park neighborhood for BYOB. Yes, you read that right. BYOB – the holy grail in NYC. Pick up your favorite bottle of vino (I’ve included some of my faves below) and hit up this spot to people watch and enjoy the summer season right off of one of the best park’s in the city and nibble on some bomb pastries and snacks.
There are so many reasons to go to Grand Banks. First of all, who doesn’t want to sit and enjoy some dranks on the deck of an old schooner? Secondly, they have rosé on draft so it’s never been easier to drink in excess (major props to Grand Banks). They’re also known for their oysters so make an afternoon of your trip and sip on delightful wines tear through some oysters like you’ve never done before.
Alta Linea at The High Line Hotel
Full disclosure: This spot doesn’t have a huge selection or rosé. However, there was obviously a reason I included it on the list, which is their Prosé cocktail, a concoction of rosé, grapefruit, gin and cucumber. That is literally all of my favorite cocktail ingredients in one recipe, so it’s like they knew I’d be coming. Everyone go check it out before I get there and drink it all.
I’m going here for brunch this weekend and I’ve never been more excited. Sorry, off topic – but this small French spot in the West Village has an extensive cocktail list and a ton of wine options. Nom on some bread, cheese, croissants – really whatever French awesomeness your little heart desires – and enjoy a bottle of your favorite rosé on the patio.
This spot has multiple locations throughout the city, making it easier than ever before to sip some vino in your ‘hood. Check out their delectable Italian bites that pair perfectly with a glass of rosé, which they’ve got on their menu by the bottle and by the glass.
Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar
Skip the famed Prosecco Pop at this summer hotspot at the Conrad Hotel. Instead, enjoy some rosé on the rooftop, poured straight from their tap – the Rosecco on draft is literally every girl’s dream come true.
