As anyone who knows me personally knows, I LOVE coffee. It isn’t just a one-cup-a-morning type of love. It’s a love that exists in all forms, almost any time of the day (except maybe after 4pm because I”m kind of a grandma). I even did a brief stint as a Starbucks barista, which taught me more than I ever wanted or needed to know about steaming milk, but did have the nice side effect of teaching me what and what not to order, plus copious amounts of free drinks while working.
This deep-seeded love for coffee is what has led to the creation of this series, the first of its kind on The Naturalized New Yorker. And, my almost as deep-seeded love for hipster coffee spot Birch Coffee led for it to be the first post in the coffee shop series!
